TapTab was retrofitted to all water outlets in the bathrooms of a 400-bedroom hotel in Singapore. This resulted in a 33% drop in water consumption, which translated to US$5,000 savings per month (or US$60,000 savings per year). The return on investment on the devices for the hotel thus took less than 6 months.

(Note: The amount of savings is heavily dependent on occupancy rate, and excludes savings on energy used to heat up water for showers.)

A Singapore-based electronics manufacturing factory which replaced its fluorescent light tubes with GreenCube T5 Light Tubes in its production area and office saw its monthly electricity bill decrease by almost 20%. It is currently operating a 10-hour day at its office and productions area.

Case Study 2

LED Spot-Lamp

A 4-star hotel in Singapore has the majority of its halogen spotlights in public areas such as its lobby, restaurants and corridors turned on round the clock. It started its energy-saving exercise by replacing the spotlights along its corridors with GreenCube LED Spot-Lamps. Eventually this exercise was rolled out to the entire hotel's public areas. Energy savings of up to 30% was achieved.
